Authorly Videocasts and Podcasts
The Writerly Corner Crew are working on the planning and logistics for creating videocasts and podcasts for authors.
Some of the concepts are:
Videocasts
Author Chats - Two or three authors engage in an authorly chat about their current or published books, their processes, and their trials and tribulations along the way. This would be an entertaining glimpse into the participating authors worlds and their books. This would be a benefit to the participating authors for marketing, branding, and author platform building.
Author Interviews - One author is interviewed by a host discussing their books, their processes, their journey as a writer. This would be a benefit to the participating author for marketing, branding, and author platform building.
After post-production and editing of the videocasts, all videocasts will be made available for public viewing through YouTube and this website. A link to the videocast will be provided to the participating authors for their use on their website, social media, and marketing efforts.
Podcasts
All of the videocasts would also be formatted into podcasts and distributed to iTunes and other appropriate podcast distribution channels. A link to the podcast will be provided to the participating authors for their use on their website, social media, and marketing efforts.
Audio Only Podcasts - If authors would like to participate in one of the videocast formats but doesn't want to participate in the video portion, that is where audio only podcasts come in to play.
If you would like to be added to the list of authors interested in participating in any or all of the above, fill out the contact form below. You will be contacted with additional information and for scheduling when all of the logistics, software, and equipment necessary are in place. Participation can be done from the comfort of your home, no travel would be required.
Participation in any of the above confirms your understanding that the content is the sole property of Writerly Corner and that you would be free to utilize the link to the content in your promoting and marketing efforts. Any sponsor or advertising revenue generated by any of the above will remain with Writerly Corner to offset the costs involved in the creation and production of these videocasts and podcasts. Authors will not be compensated for their participation.
