My sister and I recently had a discussion about the book "Shogun". It reminded me of a haiku poetry contest that was central to the conflict. This was the inspiration for this week's story.

I loved your story this week. I remember watching Shogun on TV years ago when I was a kid but I don't remember much about it. Great job!

My story was inspired by a landscaper who helped me landscape a building my old boss had bought for a clinic.

A sweet story, June. And some good gardening tips!

The strength of this story is how you guided the reader through three stages of faith or perceptions: the literal faith of a child, the conventional faith of a teenager, and the reflective faith of an adult. I enjoyed reading it.

Ok, so I'm finally posting my link. This one was really difficult for me and my mind drew a complete blank - the inspiration for this story.

Hi Sandra,
The last two weeks I have been unable to access your blog post from Writerly Corner. I have gone to your website and your blog but have not been able to find your recent stories. I feel like I'm really missing something.
